During our 2015 Open House & Training Event in March, SynTec Seating Solutions presented a number of significant improvements to the 2014 “Tapered” Thomas S3B Seats installed on all Thomas NC DPI state contract buses, beginning with buses delivered in 2014. These enhancements were the result of feedback we received from you our customers and recommended to SynTec to improve the seat.
The 2014 “Tapered” Thomas S3B Seat includes a new “tapered back” foam and cover design along with enhancements to the metal back panel to significantly improve the life and durability of the seat. The S3B Seat is installed on all Thomas buses manufactured for the NC DPI state contract, beginning with deliveries in 2014. Older 2009 – 2013 legacy seats may also be converted to the “tapered back” foam and cover.
