Service Technician – Experienced (Midland)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform repairs, service, and maintenance of all makes and models of buses and specialty vehicles. This position reports to our Service Manager. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel and gas vehicles
- Perform mechanical repairs on various vehicle sub-systems:
- Cummins Diesel Engines
- ABS brakes
- Air suspensions
- Allison automatic transmissions
- SCR/DEF emission systems
- Starting and charging systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical systems using specialized equipment (experience with electrical/electronics preferred, but not required)
- Work independently and with others
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a vehicle service technician
- Physical ability to perform hands-on repairs, including marking, lifting, moving, pushing and/or pulling vehicle components to perform required repairs
- Must own complete set of hand tools
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL driver’s license or willingness to obtain one (company will cover training and expense)
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to read wiring schematics, repair manuals, and OEM documentation
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, safe work environment, and professional appearance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited technical school

Position Type
Hourly / Full Time with monthly bonus based on Service Department’s profitability and individual productivity. Eligible for benefits after 90 days. Tool and shoe allowance.
