Position Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for work related to body shop paint and collision repairs, including but not limited to:
- Disassembly and reassembly of vehicles, sanding, taping, and prepping vehicles for paint.
- Inform body shop manager of status of jobs daily.
- Communicate with body shop manager, body shop sales manager and other areas of the company (parts staff, service staff) so jobs are completed on schedule.
- Inspect finished vehicles for quality imperfections with body shop manager.
- Maintain clean, organized, efficient work area;
- Participate in company’s Continuous Improvement Project to drive efficiencies into department.
- In time, this person could be trained in inspection and assessment of vehicle damage that needs to be repaired, as well as intricate body shop repairs to restore vehicles back to safe condition per OEM standards.
Abilities Required
Must be willing and able to learn new skills. Must have an “eye for quality” to ensure all repairs meet OEM quality and safety standards.

Position Type
Hourly / Full Time with quarterly bonus if Body Shop Department is profitable. Eligible for benefits after 90 days. Tool and shoe allowance.
